An online exhibition of dream works to be displayed September 23 –
October 7, 2007 as part of
IASD’s Sixth Annual Online PsiberDreaming
Conference.
Eligibility:
Original art work about or inspired by dreams. Open to all levels of
artistic abilities.
Media:
All media will be considered, including painting, drawing, collage,
sculpture, photography, music and poetry. Film and video cannot be
accepted, as there is no provision for displaying these media online.
Deadline Information:
September 14, 2007:
For your artwork to appear when the online PsiberDreaming conference
opens on Sunday September 23rd images must be received by September
14th. No images can be accepted after that date.
Due to the curator’s availability, we must limit new works per artist
to five (5) submissions to ensure adequate time for the work of
submitting artists to be accepted, uploaded and showcased. All work
accepted for the online PsiberDreaming Art Gallery will be added to the
archived IASD online dream art galleries, unless you specifically
request that we not do so.
There will be no opportunity have late entries uploaded to the
PsiberDreaming Art Gallery this year, so please submit your artwork by
the September 14 deadline.
Selection:
The show will be curated by Laura Atkinson, with the assistance of an
advisory committee. Criteria considered by the committee in reviewing
entries will include:
*Connection to dreams or dreaming, especially psi-dreaming.
*Completeness and quality of supporting documents (incomplete
documentation or vague, unclear statements may disqualify an entry. We
must have a completed entry form, and we need to know how your work is
dream-related, how big it is, what the medium is, etc.)
*Quality of digital files. (Out of focus, poorly composed or difficult
to see images will be rejected.)
*Images must be new, and not previously displayed as part of previous
PsiberDreaming conferences.
How to Enter
Entries may be submitted electronically allowing time for receipt by the
deadlines stated herein.
Submitting Digital Files:
Each artist may submit up to 5 images (multiple views or details of the
same piece are acceptable where appropriate). Files should be in either
.jpg, .gif or .tiff format. Images should display in the proper
orientation, with resolution set at 72dpi and sized at the maximum
possible within the parameters of 480h by 640w. File names should
include the artist's name and an image number (e.g, "Smith1," "Smith2,"
etc.").
Fee:
There is no entry fee for this show, nor is membership in IASD
required. However, you must be a registered participant for the
PsiberDreaming Conference. For more information check our web site

Notification of Acceptance:
Prompt decisions on all entries will be made during the deadline dates.
Notification of acceptance will be emailed to the artist.
